New Building Announcement 2017
Catholic Family Services of Durham is pleased to announce that we have received 1.12 million from the
Province to retrofit a newly purchased property (707 Simcoe Street South, currently L’Amicale), that will

The formal announcement was made on June 29, 2017 by Granville Anderson, MPP for Durham on behalf of
the Minister of Community and Social Services (MCSS), Dr. Helena Jaczek. Tracy MacCharles, MPP
(Pickering-Scarborough East) and Joe Dickson, MPP (Ajax-Pickering) also spoke at the event.

providers under one roof to serve as a catalyst for building strong, healthier individuals, families and
communities, and to ensure that community members are able to access multiple key supports in one

facility, with other potential partnerships currently being explored.

overhead costs for all collaborative partners, which will result in more funding being available for direct
